I feel like I get over winter clothes so fast. There are only so much sweaters jeans and booties I can wear before I'm just over it. So this year I decided to get a few pair of faux leather leggings. I got these from Old Navy for $18. Steal of a deal. I am playing with a lot of textures in this outfit, fur, faux leather, and a chambray shirt. I also get a little sidetracked in this post....
So these next few photos have to do with all the camo I have been buying Leo this winter. A lot of stores like Carters, Gap, Old Navy are having big winter sales right now so if your kiddo is in need of some warm winter items I highly suggest you checking those sites. I put together a few of my favorite camo items currently on sale.

I love these paneled faux leather leggings. They are a good way to break up the faux leather look. Given there is a time for a leather legging but during the day doesn't really seems like the right time. Like I said earlier these are on sale for $18 so if you are looking to try this type of style out this is a great place to start.
Sidenote- Did you notice my darker hair. I freaked out for a good few days but now it is growing on me and I really like it. Especially the lack of maintenance.
So I am mixing a few textures in this look. I have had this vest for a few years and I am looking for ways to make fur a little more causal. Normally I wear it with a silk/satin top but instead decided to wear it with a button up chambray top. Then adding the little bit of faux leather to round out the outfit. I love all types of textures but just be sure to not to overdue it. Try mixing in textures in little ways, like a scarf, paneled legging, vest, jacket. It is easy to go overboard so start out subtle and work from there!

Hope you guys have a good weekend! My hubby heads back to work after 3 days off. So sadly our weekend won't be super exciting but hopefully it is productive. I need to put a little time into cleaning out Leo's closet. He seems like he is growing like a crazy kid and out of all his clothes.
