At the 30 week mark we opted to get some maternity photos done. I wanted a winter wonderland photoshoot to use for our Christmas cards. We lucked out and got a blizzard. It was 20 degrees with wind ripping and snowing. It was snowing so hard it was turning Jay's hair white and my hair was soaking wet by the end of the shoot. Despite this, our photographer somehow captured the most amazing photos. I have been asked about my maternity style so I thought I'd share with you my two favorite outfits!
I really haven't bought many maternity items except pants. For this outfit I wore a black tank, a long cardigan (cause I'm all about covering my booty) and my favorite over the knee boots. These are so comfortable, I found them cheaper online. They have a bigger heel which makes then easier to walk in. I wasn't planning on wearing a hat, but I'm glad I packed it cause my hair was soaking wet. I got this hat last year in Sun Valley, I couldn't find the same one but found something similar. It really made my outfit pop. In my true style I tend to always wear something that adds color and pop. This hat surely did the trick. I picked up Jay this shirt at Nordstrom, it is now on sale. It fits great, Jay's pretty slim so it definitely has a slim tighter fit to it.

For our other outfit we did something more formal. We wanted to use this for our Christmas cards. I really wanted to wear a white dress. I couldn't find a long one, but this one worked! I ended up buying this same dress in white and black. It fit like a glove and it was nice to wear to holiday parties. Like I said earlier my outfit doesn't feel complete unless I have a pop of color. I was able to do that with the burgundy booties. I also wore a faux fur vest in a few photos to add in more color. The floral crown clearly was the best feature of the whole outfit. It really finished out the winter wonderland look. I bought Jay this Banana cashmere sweater for the shoot. It's a great sweater that he can wear forever! Guys clothes don't really go out of style, lucky them!
