I find it hard to dress myself being 38 weeks pregnant. Mind you I took these photos at 36 weeks. I won't lie as of the past few weeks 90% of the time I'm in sweats, but as the days drag on and I'm awaiting the baby's arrival I decided I needed to get dressed up and go out. I wanted to play around with my look and came up with this one. The only maternity item I'm wearing are the pants. I love the way it turned out and I'm sure it would look even cuter on a non pregnant person.
I love the back on this vest. Mostly because a full faux fur vest would be so hot, so it is nice that the back is breathable. I have been into whites and creams lately. Normally and this pregnancy I've been wearing mostly blacks and greys, but the lighter colors have been calling me lately. Not only do I love all the cream colors but I'm also all about the camel color. I have been wearing all neutrals the past 6 months so it's fun to add in a new neutral like the cream and camel and switch it up.
I think I'm going to have a hard time transitioning back into wearing colors, but I would like to try the new pantone colors of the year. The pink color is a little girlie for me so I might start with the light purple blue. If you haven't seen the new colors for 2016 click on the link here! They went with 2 different color of pastels, definitely a departure from the years past.

I am so excited to wear this outfit when I don't have a baby bump. I think it'll be so cute. Although I doubt I'll be dressing up like this anytime soon after he's born.
Cheers,
