My husband recently graduation from residency and it was an excuse to get a new dress. I am not one to wear a super girlie dress, but I saw this one on Hautelook for $35 and figured it would be worth a try. I ended up loving it. I used to LOVE wearing colors, but my style has seemed to go more towards neutral with pops of color. But with summer here I decided it was the perfect time to start bringing color back into my wardrobe. Life is too short to not wear some color!
Had to share our little family picture. I can't believe our time in Portland is finally done and more importantly my husband is FINALLY done with residency and we get to move home!!
The dress had a slit up both sides, I loved that little added feature. I ended up really liking the cut of the dress, I was a little worried about how it dress would fit in the bust area, but it ended up being great. It got a little cool so I added a little white jacket for warmth and to make the outfit more formal for a graduation.
I am digging these shoes! Here is a few reasons why....

Moral of the story it is sometimes fun to add a little color into your life especially when it only costs you $35. It was even more fun to add in some pink to my wardrobe. I don't think I even owned an article of pink clothing, so this was a fun addition. I also ended up buying another super girlie girl pink dress. I'll do a blog post on it soon!!
