This jacket was made for me! I got it a month ago at Nordstrom with my girlfriend. I passed it by the first day and I couldn't stop thinking about it all that night. The next day we "happened" to be back by Nordstrom and I still wanted this darn jacket. I took that as a sign and I bought it! It is simply fabulous for a million reasons, mostly because I'm over the moon about embroidery.

I paired this jacket with a cut out tank, black jeans, and some black peep toed heels. This jacket is really perfect for throwing over any outfit, especially if you are one that wears a lot of basics like me. I am not one that is a lover of patterns or stripes so sometimes I think my outfits are a bit too plain. This jacket takes care of the "plain" element!

Another thing that is key to this look is the cut out tank, if you go shopping this spring or summer you'll see a lot of that. I love that idea of it but the functionality confused me. I spent some time at Victoria's Secret and found some super cute bralettes to wear under these type of shirts. It was a life saver. But if you aren't into showing a little something something you can simply put a tank on under it.
