Having a good maxi dress in the summer is just as good as having a good little black top. I love a good printed maxi that I can dress up and down for every occasion. This one my mom picked this one up earlier this summer and we have been trading it back and forth. She wore it out to dinner in Mexico and I've worn it for some daytime wine tasting. It's all about how you accessorize. Having something like this maxi is the perfect thing to pack on vacation, it can be your go to day or night time dress.
I threw my hair up, added some hoop earrings, a statement bracelet, and some wedges to turn this outfit into something I could easily wear to a wedding or out to a nice dinner. If you need to wear it as a daytime option wear your hair down, take off the jewelry, put on some flats sandals and all of a sudden this dress is casual. I know when I'm in doubt to what to wear for an occasion a maxi dress is always a safe option. You can always take off some jewelry and throw a pair of flats in the car if you are worried you are too dressy or throw your hair up in the bathroom if you need to make the look more formal. Easy as can be!
This dress I got at Evereve it's on sale for $39. But I also added a few other maxi that are perfect for being formal or casual .
