Monday's are my jam, bachelor and chill! The last few Monday's I have gotten into a routine of having a little at home beauty or spa night. My husband often works at night or swing shifts so I kind of love that I still get nights at home alone to watch tv and do whatever girlie things I want. For some reason the last few weeks he's been gone every Monday. I think he does it on purpose cause he knows I will be watching the bachelor. Anyways here is my easy at home spa routine.
Hair Mask
First I start with a hair mask using coconut oil. It is super easy I usually add in some peppermint or lavender essential oils to it. Coconut oil is so amazing for your hair, it moisturizes hair and scalp (I used it on Leo when he had cradle cap) It also gets rid of dandruff, protects your hair from losing protein when washing it, has vitamin E and auric acid which helps keep hair strong and prevents hair loss and gives your hair a healthy shine. Who would of thought coconut oil could do so much.
So I get a few tablespoons of oil warm it up to it is in a liquid form add in 5-10 drops of essential oil and apply to hair. I leave it in for about 60 minutes then wash it out. If you get a lot close to your scalp maybe shampoo it twice so you don't have oily hair. It hasn't been a problem for me but I my hair tends to be more dry.

Mani
Now it is time for a little at home mani. I love the Sally Hansen miracle gel. You don't need a light and it seems to last me at least 4 days. Also the lighter the pigment the less likely it is to chip so if you need it to last longer I suggested a lighter color.
Give Me All THe Facial Masks at Ulta Please
Ok I am a big lover of the little paper facial masks they are so easy. I use one once a week. My favorite brand is this miss spa but it is $10 so a little on the speedy side. I just that one just once a month and then use the other little sheet masks on the other weeks. I love trying new masks out but nothing has beat this Miss Spa mask.
Eye Treatment
This is where I have seemed to age the most is in my eye area around my crows feet. I don't have as many dark circles or bags but occasionally do. My go to eye mask is this miss spa one again but it is a little more spendy. Sio I love this little Yes To Cucumber one I tried this last week. It is really inexpensive and I loved the results. Also I do this usually a few days after my face masks. Occasionally Ill do them on the same day but most of the time I feel like I get enough from the sheet mask I don't need to do the eye mask that same day unless I'm feeling crazy!
Enough is Enough
I need to quit with all the masks but I saw this and wanted to give it a try. I don't think this is something I will do weekly like I do the eye and sheet masks but it is good to do every month or two.
As you can see I need the entire 2 hour bachelor show to complete this beauty routine. This isn't something I get to do every week but just the way my husband schedule has been I've been able to do it more often. I try and do the hair mask once a month, nails, facial sheet and eye masks weekly, and this lip mask every few months. I think it is important as women to take care of our skin and also to relax. I enjoy the downtime I get laying in bed with my mask on watching a tv show and my skin also notices all the extra TLC I've given it this winter.
If you have any at home spa tips I'd love to hear them I'm always interested in trying new products! My husband and some friends are off to Vegas this weekend. It happened to be that a few of my other friends will be there too so win win! I'm excited for some sunshine and catching up with friends that I only get to see once a year or so! Hopefully I'll be back blogging next week sometime. I'm sure I'll be sharing my Vegas trip on my instagram.
Cheers,
Jess
