Can you guys believe it is back to school already? Summer always flies by and I swear having kids makes it fly by even faster. We headed to Columbia Center to do a little back to school shopping. Back to school shopping was so long ago for me but I remember how much I used to look forward to having that time with my Mom and browsing the stores. . I loved it but I will say think it is even more fun as a parent. I had such a great time shopping for Leo and I can't wait to show you guys what I got.
Our first stop for back to school shopping was Barnes and Noble. I got way too lost in the aisles, although I avoided the SAT book prep tables. I am so glad I never have to take a standardized test again! But if you have someone that is needing to brush up on those test Barnes and Noble has a million books to help your child prep for that. We mostly stuck to the kids area. They had so many great books set out to get a child ready for school but also how to ease them into the transition with great little story books. We picked out the Itsy Bitsy School Bus since Leo is really into buses. There was a book about the night before preschool, when we do drop off pre school next year I will for sure be buying that book. We also grabbed a few other children books, Leo is also really into learning about bugs so we made sure to get one about that.
But don't think I didn't get something for myself.... I grabbed a 17 month planner. They had the biggest planner selection, I love having a physical planner and their selection was huge. So be sure to check out Barnes and Noble.

As you can see Leo loved his new books, but we also made sure we stopped by The Children's Place to get a new outfit. Leo and I do a mommy and me pre school class so he technically doesn't really need new clothes for that but it is still fun to buy him a new little outfit. We stopped into The Children's Place and I immediately saw this little monster truck button up and knew Leo needed it! He never really is a kid that asks to wear certain shirts, but he has asked this week to wear this shirt more than once. I also grabbed him some cute little sweats. I want him to be comfortable and these toddler sweats could totally pass as pants. The prices were insane and I got this whole little outfit for under $15!! This is key for a toddler who ruins their clothes so easily I hate spending money on clothes that get ruined in one wear, some sure to check this store out.
Off to our next stop! Coach
I think people forget we have a Coach store at the mall. I walked into the store and was in awe of their new Dreamer Bag. I remember hearing about this bag that Selena Gomez designed and it was so cool to see it in person. So with that being said they are offering a 10% discount on the Dreamer Bag if you mention my blog when you are checking out. So if you mamas wanna treat yourself for back to school go check out this gorgeous bag and be sure to mention Champagne and Shimmer to get your 10% off!!
There is a million more stores I wish I could talk about for back to school. If you are planning to do some back to school shopping for your younger kiddos make sure you also stop by Gymboree, Macys, and JCPenney, Justice, and Old Navy, I promise the choices at the mall won't disappoint for back to school!
Cheers,
Jess
