I grew up in the country and taking drives on back roads is something I was very fond of. Recently on a Sunday drive in the country I came upon two awesome locations for photos. This being one of them. I threw on some clothing and headed out to take some photos. It was freezing cold so don't mind the red nose! This outfit is all about the blanket scarf, the leather jacket and a pop of color.
I am SO SO SO happy that the blanket scarf is in style this year. Jackets no long zip due to my growing baby bump so to keep warm I need to drape a blanket scarf over the top of every outfit and jacket. If you go on pinterest you can find a bunch of ways to tie and wear a blanket scarf. It is one piece of clothing for fall and winter I think you will get some good use out of.
I paired the blanket scarf with one of my leather jackets. This one is from Zara from last season. Zara has great leather jackets at an even better price. There is currently a sheep skin jacket from there that I'm swooning over. Every girl should own a good leather jacket....or two.

I picked up this Kooba purse at a consignment store last year. It happened to match my new burgundy booties I bought this season. If you know my style you know I love to add a little pop of color. With this outfit the burgundy booties are that perfect pop.
I got this blanket scarf surprisingly at Abercrombie, I ended up getting two different scarves there. I was surprised with the quality and the price, although the smell of the store was a little rough to handle. I don't know why they spray so much perfume in that store.
