Quick little post on an alternative to a LBD. I'm a fan of rompers I don't know why but I just love them. Here is a fun one I picked up at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It is only $65 and is perfect for a night out on the town or for a cocktail event.
Let's just talk about the cape sleeves.... yes please! I am so in love with the cape look. Never gets old. Adding the tall heels helps my legs look longer but you don't have to opt for this high of heels. I love the edgy look the strappy heels with the zipper bring to the outfit. I also added a gold belt to help break up the outfit and make it look a little more formal. But you could easily wear flats and no belt and dress the outfit down.

I got these heels for the Kentucky Derby and they are still one of my favorite pair of heels. I rarely get to wear them now, but when I get a chance to dress up these heels are my jam. This is just such a fun outfit and is one of the staples in my closet. The best part is that it was only $65 and all the accessories I already had in my closet.
