Do you have holiday parties on your agenda with nothing to wear. It can be expensive buying a few dresses for the holiday season. So this holiday season I decided to stick with one LBD and dress it up with a faux fur (feather) jacket.
Faux fur, leather, feathers are so easy to find and are 1/2 the price of real fur. I do own a few fur items, however I just don't feel super comfortable wearing them anymore. The animal lover in me just can't. So I've turned into a faux fur connoisseur.
The biggest thing I've learned when buying faux fur is to make sure the quality is good. Don't get me wrong I own a few pieces from Forever21 and H&M that are great for a few wears. But if you want a faux fur that is going to last you a few years I'd suggest looking somewhere other than Forever 21.

I got this amazing jacket at an ASPCA event last year. It was one of a kind piece from a designer out of New York called Pelush. I am so happy I scored this item (and by scored I mean I talked my Dad into bidding on it after he had a few cocktails)! I really love this jacket as it is a statement piece and can dress up any outfit.
I picked up this dress at Gap maternity, it has served me well as I've worn it a few times. I would normally wear this with a pair of heels, but I was on vacation in LA and I only had over the knee boots and these booties. But as this pregnancy continues heels seem like a less attractive option.
Here are a few faux fur options that I think are great deals and more importantly look like really quality!
