Leo has recently become very interested in naming people in photographs. So I decided it was time to put together a little "familiar face" book for him. In this book I put all the familiar faces he knows and family that he doesn't see as often but we want him to know their names and faces as well. I put this little book together for under $15. It is plain and simple, nothing crafty about it.
What You Will Need:
This project took me about 15-20 minutes to put together. The hardest part was taking time to print the picture since I rarely print photos anymore.
- Photo Album(I found this one on amazon for $7.00)
- Print Family Members Photos
- Paste (I opted for rubber cement)
- Markers
This project took me about 15-20 minutes to put together. The hardest part was taking time to print the picture since I rarely print photos anymore.
As you can see I kept the pages very SIMPLE. I didn't want stickers or anything to take away from the photos. The whole point is learning everyone's names and faces. I also used pictures that Leo was in with his family members.
Don't forget to put yourself in the book as well as your pets at home. We include both our dog and cat to learn their names better. Leo has taken way more interest into this book than I thought. He gets really excited when he sees certain family members and when he gets to the pages where the cat and dog are. I highly recommend making this for any of my friends who are raising kids away from family members. We are lucky to live in a place were most of our family lives and Leo gets to see them quite often. But Leo's Great Grandma, few great aunts. and Leo's uncle all live out of town so I want to make sure he still recognizes their faces.

Jess
