I love a good maxi dress and I love one with a pretty print. I picked up this dress on sale at Nordstrom and I fell in love with it. Jay and I head to the Oregon Coast any chance we get, we love relaxing in the sand and playing with our dog. Most times we hike, but this time we decided to just relax and snap a few photos.

We started of the morning off with a muffin and a chai tea. It was a little chilly in the morning so I added a denim jacket. This jacket is almost 10 years old, I got it when I used to work at Abercrombie my freshman year of college. But it has managed to always survive every move I've made, I love the wash of it and it is so durable. Looks like this jacket will be around for the long haul.
Maxi dresses are a summer staple for me. They are the best to travel with, you can throw them in your suitcase. Make sure you test our the material of the dresses before you buy it, I make sure I buy ones that material doesn't wrinkle easy. The best part about the maxi dress is the ease, the last thing I want to do is iron or steam them. You can throw them on with flip flops. Or dress it up with wedges and a vest or some fun chunky jewelry.
The coast is always a bit windy, so wearing your hair up is a must!
