I have a fun little post today! One skirt and two looks! I saw this skirt online and fell in love with it because of the embroidery. I'm a sucker for embroidery! I styled it for some PNW spring weather, but when I was headed to Arizona and needed a outfit for a rehearsal dinner I thought of this skirt again. The idea was born of one skirt two ways to wear it. This great skirt works for both Spring and Summer and I will show you how.
Outfit #1
We usually don't take my nice camera on vacation with us but we had a extra day in Arizona so we decided to. I think from now on I'll be taking my camera because all of my photos from this hotel turned out AMAZING! Outfit #1 is the most "summertime" outfit. I paired the skirt with a BRIGHT red tank blouse. There is no hiding in the crowd with this bright outfit on! I also paired the skirt with a new tassel necklace and a very bold and bright lip. What you can't see is my shoes but I did a light grey tan heel with this outfit.
Outfit #2
So for outfit #2 I kept the same idea but did a longer sleeve blouse that I didn't tuck in as tight as I did the red blouse. I went with a more subtle olive green color that matched the stems in the embroidered skirt. It is a bit softer of a look and can be worn to a lot of occasions. I paired this outfit with some fringe booties and for my "pop of color" I added a coral clutch.
