The weather has been such a tease lately for this summer girl! It’s not really winter anymore, but spring hasn't officially sprung yet either. We are in that transition period between seasons when mornings are still frosted over yet midday the sun comes out warming things up and sending you into a sweat because you chose to wear wool socks under your over-the-knee boots ...that you paired with jeans and multiple layers. Can anyone else relate?

My favorite style is effortless fashion. Talking a comfortable tee and jeans paired with a jacket or cardigan (or the kimono shown) that can take an outfit from causal to "you look so cute today!" This look is the perfect example of just that. Remove the kimono and heels (booties would be another great option with this look) and the only thing left is a slub tank and relaxed boyfriend jeans. So not only do I feel comfortable and warm/cool all day, I just fooled everyone who tells me that I look cute into thinking that I actually took time getting ready! #winning
So about this kimono. I could gush all day about my love For Love and Lemons. Their lace is one of the best quality laces these fingers have ever touched! Not to mention, the intricate detailing of the crochet is everything. I purchased this kimono a few weeks back and have been loving it for this time of year. It doesn’t appear to be thick or warm, but it is. This lace is heavier and adds warmth but is still breathable for when temperatures rise.
If you have never heard of For Love and Lemons, also check out their selection of unique lace dresses. Their dresses in my opinion are what they are known best for. They are so gorgeous and have been seen all over the last few seasons of the Bachelor and also on red carpets.
