Just because I'm a thirty something mom doesn't mean I can't still dress up! Jay and I recently booked a trip to Las Vegas with another couple and I figured it was time to start looking for a little Vegas dress. I stumbled upon this one and fell in love. It was simple but the plunging neckline took it from daytime to the perfect Vegas dress.
Ok more about this little outfit! I wanted an alternative to the LBD. This neckline is so popular right now but I was worried if I could pull it off. All I needed was a little doubled sided tape, some tall heels, and a little confidence. There are so many things I loved about this dress, the pockets, the sleeves, and the neckline. I paired it with some stuffed heels, a lariat necklace that I turned into a choker and a silver clutch. The next outfit is another outfit that perfect for going out. I seriously love this peplum top, the silhouette is so flattering. I paired it with a red skirt, for a pop of color. But you could also pair it with a simple black skirt or even black pants.

See us thirty something year old moms aren't too old to get dressed up! I had so much fun playing dress up in these clothes and enjoying a glass of wine along the way. As you may have gathered from these pictures we are finally in our new home. I am so thankful for all the amazing windows in this house and the opportunity to take some photos inside vs having to brave the cold in these outfits. I hope this inspires you to go out and look for some new "dress up" clothes. If your anything like me this part of my closet seemed to be lacking. Needless to say I can't wait for Vegas and wearing these outfits again!
