I was in the Tri-Cities all weekend doing family stuff like Ang. When I found this delightful dessert sitting in the fridge. I asked my mom what was in it and she said it was only berries, greek yogurt, and granola. My mom is all about healthy desserts so she tested out this new reicpe. We ended up being too full to eat it for dinner, but Jay and I enjoyed it all weekend for breakfast. I wanted to make it for the blog so I insisted we make it again Sunday for another family dinner. This time I added some cool whip to make it a little more "dessert" like!
We made this twice the first time my Mom made it she didn't dry the berries out enough so there was some liquid on the bottom of the trifle. This time we made sure after washing the berries we let the sit out and fully dry before adding them into the trifle.
It is all about layering, we used strawberries on the bottom, but I'm sure you could use whatever fruit you wanted to. You could also be really ambitious and make your own granola, but we just bought some at the store since I had just got in from boating at 3pm and had to make this for dinner. We all love our Oatbox granola so this would be another great recipe to use it for.
Continue to layer the dish with fruit, greek yogurt, and granola. We decided to use strawberry and honey greek yogurt, holy smokes it was yummy, but I'm sure you can use any flavor that looks good.
Ingredients:
Directions: Wash and dry fruit, place some fruit in the bottom of your glass bowl, follow with a large spoonful of yogurt, then some granola. Repeat the layers using different types of fruit. Use as much or little of each ingredient as you like, just make sure you have enough yogurt at the end. I topped the last layer with cool whip, a sprinkled a little bit of granola on top and added berries for beauty.

This is so simple to make, took me about 10 minutes or less and the best part is that it is fairly guilt free!
