It has been pouring here in Portland Oregon this month. We have had over 11 inches of rain and the month isn't even over yet. So finding an outfit that works at 33 weeks pregnant is already challenging and then add in all the rain and this is what you get! Thankfully my red hunter boots, scarves, and stocking caps have saved the day for this holiday season.
You can't go wrong at Christmas time wearing pops of red. My wardrobe is pretty simple right now. I haven't wanted to buy many maternity clothes, so I bought a few basics like this striped top from Old Navy. So all my pregnant friends, check out Old Navy and Gap Maternity they are great for basics and are very inexpensive. I think at this point and this pregnant it's best to stick to basics and add in some fun accessories like scarves, hats, boots, and vests. This rule doesn't apply to just being pregnant this applies to all women, invest in good basics and have alot of accessories. Accessories are always so fun to shop for and are they perfect way to change up your look season after season.
One of the few things I've splurged on other than baby gear is this raccoon fur hat. I love a good beanie and I like that you can wear it like a traditional hat or as a slouchy beanie as well. Hunter boots are also a bit of a splurge I bought them we I moved to PDX and they have been a staple the entire time. So if you live anywhere with a lot of rain or slushy snow I suggest getting a pair.
Lastly, since literally everyone is pregnant right now I wanted to share with you my favorite pair of maternity jeans. I literally couldn't of done this pregnancy without these jeans. I also got a pair of bootcut jeans from Gap, but I haven't been head over heels for them as much as these.

I am cherishing all the time with my pup before the baby comes. Arson has been my main squeeze for over 6 years, he is going to have a hard time playing second fiddle to Baby Leo. But I know he will be a great dog brother!
Cheers,
