Woo things have been busy over here! We just got back from Vegas (which was amazing!!! I will do a Vegas recap on friday) and now we are in the states spending some time with my family. It has been 110 degrees every day this weekend, so needless to say we have been living in the pool. To keep us hydrated and feeling refreshed I have been making my favorite protein iced coffee.
When it is so hot outside my appetite isn't very large so this actually serves as a great lunch snack and it is super healthy and satisfying. It is also so easy to make, I can jump out the pool and have it made and back swimming in just a few minutes.
So easy, just throw everything in the blender and serve over ice.
The perfect summer drink to enjoy pool side!
- 2 scoops protein powder
- 1 cup chocolate coconut water
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1-2 cups coffee (I just use whatever is left over in the pot)
- 2 Tbsp coco powder
- 1 cup ice
