High Neck Shift Dress

I have been all about the high neck shift dresses this summer. I love how light and airy they are and how they look great on every body style. I recently wore this dress when my husband and I (Jessica) announced our pregnancy. I got multiple text messages asking about the dress. So I figured I would blog about it for you guys! (

I love the color of this dress probably is the best part about it. I think with a shift dress you can't go wrong wearing a color in the summer. I'm all about black dresses, but in the summer I prefer to wear pops of color! I paired this dress with one of my favorite summer purchases from Nordstrom Rack these dark caramel colored shoes.

The back of this dress has a simple cut but one that is flattering. It kind of mimics the shape of the front of the shoes.

For our pregnancy photo I didn't wear a necklace, cause we had alot of other things going on. But I love adding this statement necklace. It really dresses up the outfit it would be perfect for a wedding. I got this last year from Feathers + Arrows.

Now the fun part! I am sharing with you our pregnancy announcement. A huge thank you to my dear friend Britney Kluse who worked her magic to create this fun announcement. The weather was against us as we were throwing confetti up into the wind. We are so excited for this new adventure, but don't worry readers. My blog posts won't turn into ALL baby or pregnancy posts, although as my bump grows my fashion posts will eventually have to address the growing belly.
