OMG this is such an adult dress. Adulting has it's downfalls but it also has it perks, like trading in the youthful dresses for some chic and classic looks. And there is nothing more classic than this dress. And if your like me it might be time to upgrade your little black dress selection. I hardly wear dresses so the ones I did have were more Vegas and less 30ish, if you know what I mean. None the less I found this little number for $100 at Nordstrom and I am digging the midi cut!
If you girls are trying to figure out something to ask for for Christmas I highly suggest investing in a pair of black pumps. When in doubt you can always look to them. I got these a year ago and I don't wear them often but when I do I'm glad I paid a little more than I usual do because the comfort level is off the charts. I would never suggest investing in heels that were super trendy, but since you can never go wrong with a black pump it is a great investment piece. These are Kate Spade and were over $200 but I plan to get quite a few years out of them.

Let's talk about this dress, it surely is a must have for every girl over 25. I was SO SO SO hesitant to try the midi dress because I was so unsure about the length and where it would cut on my legs. I wasn't blessed with the longest legs so sometimes these cuts hit me at such a weird place on my legs. But the key for me when trying the midi look was getting one that was more form fitting and also one with a little slit.
I love how this gathered in the front. It added some detail and it also adds the slimming effect (WIN WIN). This is definitely a classic piece can be dressed up or down and was only $100.
