More fringe and more 70's inspired style on the blog today. When I pulled this vest out of the box my husband said no no no. It wasn't until he saw it styled that he approved. Sometimes I personally don't want to take the extra time to figure out how to style an outfit or a piece like this vest that is outside my comfort zone. So this outfit was a fun challenge for me.
Like all trendy items I got this vest at Forever 21 on sale for just $26! I paired this vest with a white peasant top, dark jeans, and my favorite spring booties. I probably would have normally just wore a simple white shirt or tank, but this peasant top really completed the look and took it to the next level. I am loving the peasant tops, but a lot of them have big sleeves which doesn't work for me. I am constantly rolling up my sleeves to change a diaper, wash a bottle, or do all the other things that come along with having a baby. So I really loved the 3/4 length sleeve length on this shirt.
The rust colored vest is such the perfect color, It can go with blacks or whites and pairs easily with denim. The cut of the vest is great, even with the real suede the cut is very slimming.
