When the leaves fall, the vests come out. I love vests , I think they are one of the most effortless way to dress up a boring outfit. I saw this vest in the window of Anthropolgie when I was in LA. I couldn't find it in the store so I went home the next day and bought it online along with 2 other vests! I usually go for textures or plain vest, but I just fell in love with the pattern on this one. I'm not much of a pattern person, other than stripes, but this one I thought was beautiful. Not only is this a beautiful vest, it is also warm, and only $100.
As you can see I'm rocking the top-knot. Since dying my hair lilac I have had to it go longer between washes. So I've been wearing it up in a top knot or pony tail more often. I know quite a few of my friends can make it a whole week without washing their hair. But I still only can go 4 days then it drives me crazy not washing it. I also can't believe my hair still has a purple hue to it. I think it is due to the Milkshake silver hair shampoo my girlfriend gave me!
Jay and I were running errands this day and having lunch with friends so I wanted to look cute, but also needed to be functional running errands with a baby. So I paired the vest with my favorite Free People long sleeve shirt, J.Crew high waisted jeans, Madewell a lariat necklace, and high heeled booties. It really is an effortless look. The vest adds to this super casual outfit and dresses it up just enough.
