Ok maybe this isn't my LAST outfit of summer, but I feel like summer is winding down. It is crazy that we only have a few more weeks left before school starts. I always remember our county fair which is the last week full of August being the signal for the end of summer. I know by then I'm already wearing jeans in the evenings. I swear people say life goes by so much faster when you have kids and I TOTALLY think that is true. I feel like the last 1.5 years have FLOWN by and I am trying to grasp on to every little moment cause I know I will be sitting here in a few years missing these crazy days when I feel like I can't get a step ahead. Anyways, enough about that. As the summer ends it is the BEST TIME to grab summer stuff. I know these shorts I'm wearing in this blog post are on sale so snag them for next year!
I fought the short shorts for a long time but finally caved this year. I really love these Free People off white shorts. They have a little high low going on so they cut higher on the sides but longer in the back which make them feel less "booty" like! I also tend to pair my short shorts with a longer top or throw a kimono overtop. That is exactly what I did here with this outfit. Anthropolgie has so many cute kimono type shirts right now. They are the perfect top for the in between seasons that we are about the enter. Go to their website and check their stuff out you'll be surprised!
I'm wearing my favorite summer find these little $12 sunglasses from Amazon, HERE. It is so funny cause I get more compliments on these cheap sunnies than any pair I've ever owned. Plus being a Mom I've learned that sunglasses often become a toy and get scratched easily. So these are perfect for that.
Speaking of inexpensive this top I'm wearing it also on sale on Nordstrom right now. It's Trouve and it's on sale for $29.00HERE. They don't have this rust color anymore but they have it in black and cream and you should see the drape back it has.

So as you can see summer stuff is best to find at the end of summer when it's on SALE!! I didn't think this post would end up as such a thrifty post but I kinda love that it turned out that way!
PS Leo has nothing to do with this post but the pictures of him were too cute to not include!
