Life is always so crazy in the summer. We are now home and settled from a great vacation at Priest Lake. More on that in a little bit. But I just thought I'd update you all on a few things that have been going on in our lives as well as this pregnancy. We are getting close to having the new baby less than 7 weeks. Jay has added a new job, as if we weren't busy enough. Ha ha! He is now working a few days a month at Tri-Cities Regenerative Institute. It is very different from his ER gig, but he is really enjoying it. It is awesome that this is now being offered in Tri-Cities, they do stem cell injections as well as Platelet Rich Plasma injections for injuries and cosmetic reasons. Once I have this baby I'm dying to go have a vampire facial!! You guys should check out their website HERE.
Let's talk about our trip, we went to Priest Lake for a week. It was a blast and we tried to soak up all of our Leo time. Like I said before I'm having a hard time giving up all my one on one time with him. Vacations on a lake are very different with a kid that is obsessed with water. I felt like I never could take my eye off of him for even a second even with his puddle jumpers on. And in the boat he had a life jacket on 24/7 because his favorite thing was jumping off the side of the boat and letting his head go all the way under water then swimming away from the boat. Here were a few of our lake essentials...
Stearns Life Jacket- we have last years model but you can get it HERE! We got ours at Walmart. What I loved about this is the material of it. It dried faster than other vest and was less bulky and since he had to have it on 24/7 on the boat this was great. Plus you need the under strap for little ones. Leo can't fit in the ones with the headrest but he is really comfortable in the water. We wore it in the pool and practiced with it and we never let him alone in the lake without us.

Kids Blow Up Mattress- Ok so this one was totally a fluke. We stopped at ShopKo to get me some weights because we had forgotten them at home. In the same aisle as the weights was this awesome kids bed. We had an air mattress for Leo already but I was like this looks legit. And legit it was. This is such a great travel or camping idea. Leo took all his naps and slept in this every night. He actually would get out the shower and run to it and lay in it with his cars and play cause he loved it so much. I think the sides made him feel so secure. You can get it at Walmart or on Amazon I'm sure. It's called the Intex Kidz Travel Airbed Mattress
And those were our lifesavers of the trip! I guess I should share a pregnancy update.
I think I have like 45 days left till my c-section (Leo was a c-section so we opted for another one). Holy smokes this has went by pretty fast. Weeks 8-12 were utterly terrible, weeks 12-18 were manageable, and weeks 18- now have been pretty easy, like way easier the second time around. I'm sure all you mamas feel this with your second pregnancy but the baby feels like it is sitting SO LOW! I had to even get one of those pregnancy belts to workout in. I am still working out a few days a week but have had to go a lot lighter the last few weeks as I started having a little cramping and realized I need to take it easy.
Hmmm what else, NAME this baby still doesn't have a name. We are down to 2 names and we are going to make a game time decision at the hospital. I think I am going to let Jay make the final decision as it was my choice to name Leo so I feel like it's only fair he gets to pick.
NURSERY her nursery is getting there. I mean it's almost done we just have the little touches left. I want to hang her name above her crib so that'll be a later addition. Her curtains are backordered and I'm hoping they will be here end of this month and I think we just need some shelving. I will share a whole nursery run down when the room is finally complete, but I have a feeling it won't totally be done till after she's born. But if you follow me on instagram you have probably seen some peeks of it. I love it but it is VERY VERY girlie!

Lastly, maternity photos. We got ours taken last week by the ever talented Brittney Kluse. Let's take a little look back at some of my favorite milestone moments she has captured for Jay and I! I know photography is expensive but it really is an investment you won't ever regret!
I plan on blogging next week a little after such a nice break. I probably only have a few weeks left of blogging before I take a little break once the baby is born. I think last time I took a month off which is totally what I needed. I'm eager to see how much my content will change once we enter the 2 kid world. Maybe I'll be sharing more about 15 minute healthy meals and how to get a ton of sh*t done in 10 minutes! #momlife
