Holy breakfast refresh, I was needing a change in my breakfast routine and SO WAS LEO! I was over my breakfast and Leo had decided to stop eating pretty much all breakfast foods. I partnered up with some awesome organic granola and cereal brands to create some new recipes. The first recipe I tacked with a smoothie bowl. Sadly we don't live in a town where I can get these very easily so I had to take matters into my own and make my own. It was super easy and beyond delicious.
I had been seeing so many people posting on instagram their yummy breakfast smoothie bowls and I had gotten all this new organic non GMO granola and seed muesli. So I decided it was the perfect time to try and make my own. Adding in some strawberries and this MAMA was HAPPY. It is a nice alternative to a smoothie. I love using both the muesli and the granola to add some more substance to the bowl. I could really get into the fruit and seed muesli. It has oats, almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds and dried dates and raisins. It really is my jam! I am also able to get all of these brands as seen in the photo at my local Frey Meyer organic section. I recommend spending a little more time in the organic section you might be really surprised at all the good finds.

Greek Yogurt and Organic Purple Corn Flake Parfait
So the next recipe is for all you tired mamas out there. Or you mamas that are struggling to get your child to eat something healthy for breakfast. Leo doesn't like eggs and lately hasn't been into pancakes or really anything else. So I decided to try yogurt like I did when he was little. I wanted to add granola or something into it but he seemed to be having a hard time chewing it. I figured it was time maybe to try some cereal, but like most of my friends I didn't want to get him a super sugary cereal. When I was sent this one I knew it would be the perfect one to try. I added in some corn flakes and strawberries and we were in business. Leo LOVED it and what I liked about it is that I wasn't having to make two difference breakfast like I've been doing the last 3 months. It is nice to make things simple for all of you superhero mamas out there and simple is surely best in the mornings.
