Because guys seem to be the hardest to buy for here is my holiday gift guide. I think one of the best things you can do this year is a family gift. Something he could use to play with the kids and also is fun for him. No lying here I pick 3 big gifts for Jay and ask which one he wants. This takes his typical response of " I don't know" out of it. I usually present him with photos of the 3 options then have him pick. This year he picked the Bowflex Adjustable weights so that's what he is getting. Then I throw in a few other "fun" items and a stocking stuffer. But note to self I really wanted one of the "family" gifts so I messed up as a wife and should of given him one of those as an option... live and learn! Next year!
Big Presents-
1. Bow Flex Adjustable Weights- Getting to the gym isn't as easy so this year I suggested weights, a weight bench etc. We already have a wooden box for box jumps so we are slowly working on getting a garage gym put together.
2. Yeti Soft Cooler- I was secretly hoping he would chose this option but he went with the weights but I think eventually we will get one of these. It would be a great "family" gift too since we are usually filling the cooler with kid stuff.
3 Down Jacket (new snowboard/skiing gear) - I got Jay a new light weight down jacket but also new skiing gear, like new snow jacket, helmet, gloves, skis you get the idea.
4. Wireless Meat Thermometer- Or anything grill related!
5. Man Crates - I love these ideas for guys that you maybe don't know as well. I also think any sort of subscription box is also a great idea!

Smaller Gifts/ Stuffers-
1 Beeropoly or Blind Beer Tasting - Dudes and Beer... Perfect!
2. Sneakers - Every year I buy Jay a new pair of tennis shoes that are more to wear out and about not to workout with. This year I got his some ugg tennis shoes.
3. Tech Case- This actually is going into Jay's stocking. As we start to travel more it would be nice to have all his cords and devices in on area.
4. Shower Beer Holder- Wish these were around in college!
5. Pocket knife or multi tool- This little tool is cool for their cars and a perfect stocking stuffer.

Family Gift / Dad Gift-
1. Indoor Electric S'more Maker- I love this idea for something for Dads to do with the kids. Mom cleans up dinner and Dad gets this set up and going for the kids.
2. Apple TV, streaming device (for Disney +)- We started swapping some of our tvs out from cable to these streaming devices. We now own 3 Apple tvs! I love that you can get everything you need in one places especially Disney +!
3. Giant Jenga - My girlfriend got this for me for my birthday. Adults love it and kids love it too. It is a great family gift.
4. Outdoor Screen and Projector- Remember when I said I should of pushed Jay into a family gift. Well this is the gift. I have been dying for an outdoor screen and projector for outdoor summer movies etc. I only linked the screen so don't forget the projector you can get one for $100.
5 Fishing Lure Kit (if you have older kids and your spouse is into fishing)- My husband doesn't love fishing but he loves doing activities with Leo and projects. If I had older kids and my husband was into fishing I would totally get him this.
And that is all I can think of this year..... every year it always requires some thinking and researching to come up with a good idea. Hope this is helpful for the ladies out there.
Cheers,
Jess
