Needing a holiday dresses for a Christmas party? My favorite trend this holiday season is the metallic dress. I love that they give a little holiday sparkle, without a sequin overload.
I bought this cute little number at a boutique in Charleston, it doesn’t even have a tag so there is no telling what brand it is. The good news is that I found 6 great options that feature this metallic trend. I think any of the dresses below could transition from a work party dress to a NYE dress. It is all about how you accessorize right ladies! Personally, if I was wearing this dress and wanted to look a little more conservative I could easily add a pair of black nylons and a black cardigan or suit jacket and the dress would appear more conservative. I was in LA for these pictures so I wanted to go with more of the flirty fun look!

This dress just makes me wanna dance, it’s such a fun party dress. I love this fit and flair dress I am only 5’5” rarely do I get to feel like I have long legs, but in a fit and flair dress I feel like I do. Plus this is my favorite silhouette for a party dress. Don’t forget to check out the 6 holiday dresses I picked out for you below!
P.S. big thank you to my Mom for lugging your camera to LA and to my Aunt Kathy for allowing me to take a billion pictures in your home. Kathy you are the best “art director” a girl could ask for, constantly running upstairs to get me props and making sure I always had a glass of champagne!
I’ll be back soon with my NYE look, this year I am wearing pants since for some reason we always end up walking home in the freezing cold. It’s amazing the older I get the smarter/warmer I dress.
Cheers,
Jess
