This could also be titled "Sunday Must-Do's" , but since I'm a SAHM (stay at home mom) Monday is my day to get everything organized for the week. I find that if I do this every Monday my whole week just works better. Not only do I sit down to "schedule" but I also make sure the house is in tip top shape. I'm sharing with you a few of my "Monday Must-Do's."
1. Schedule-
With a baby and Jay's crazy work schedule it is imperative I schedule my week out. I literally do schedule everything out, including my workouts, grocery store runs, meals, appointments, and activities. I started meal planning when I had Leo for my Monday-Thursday meals. More about that later in the blog post, but it makes a world of a difference! It is so nice to have your whole week planned and then you can fill in the holes for social activities as the week continues.
2. Fresh Flowers-
Having fresh flowers every week in the house is just as important to me as a schedule. I always have to have at least one fresh arrangement in the house, but most of the time I have one on my kitchen and one in my bedroom. Something about fresh flowers just make my week better.

3. Change your Hand Towels-
If my Mom has one pet peeve it is hand towels. So every Monday I like to change all the hand towels in the house, this includes the kitchen and all bathrooms. I do this routine again on Thursday to keep things fresh. And then depending on how much I've been cooking during the weekend I will swap the kitchen towels out again on Saturday. Remember if you are having friends over put a fresh hand towel in the guest bathroom.
*I also swap out my scents scents on Monday for new ones to keep the house smelling fresh all week!

4. Stock The Fridge-
Stocking the fridge makes eating healthy an easy option. Every Monday I take some time to crockpot chicken and then shred it for salads. I also cut up veggies and make baby food purees for the week.
Now let's talk about meal planning. This changed my world when I started doing it a few months ago. I can't believe I didn't start sooner. Breakfast, lunch and dinners are planned out for Monday-Thursday. Breakfast is always an easy one and we often eat left overs from the previous night for lunch. This week for dinner we are having greek lamb meatballs with pine nut couscous, mixed grilled kabobs and orzo, chicken avocado salads (I'll then use left overs for lunch), and turkey burgers with sweet potato fries. Having all the food in the fridge makes it easy to keep eating as healthy as possible.

5. Tackle One Big Project-
With moving back into our house a month ago I still have a lot of organizing to do. So every week I try and tackle ONE BIG PROJECT! This weeks project is my linen closet. I will share with you the finished project once it's done. But because it is a mess right now here is some inspiration photos. I hope mine turns out as good!
