We are a Husky family, my Dad played football for UW, my brother and I both graduated from UW so there was no choice for our spouses to become UW fans. We recently had family pictures taken and this was my favorite one. Everyone sporting their UW gear. It inspired my blog post on cute game day clothing. Boy has athletic wear changed since I was in college. And therefore my game day style has changed a lot since college.
In college my goal was to sport the most school spirit and what I could withstand the rain in. That usually included a hat and a rain coat. Now it's fun to be able to sport some game day clothing that is cute but still functional enough to go to the game. I haven't been in Washington for the past 4 years so my game day has been more at the bar than the actual stadium.
Even baby Leo is rocking some cute game day clothes!
When I was in college I always wanted a white UW vest, but let's be honest that wouldn't of stayed clean. I can finally wear one and it actually stays white. I love the vest for the early fall games when you can get away with wearing a long sleeve shirt and a vest. I also am sensible about shoes, cause you know you will be walking a ton. I can walk forever in these Toms, I literally walked around Europe for 3 weeks in them. But I get wedges aren't for everyone so make sure you find some cute tennis shoes you can wear to the games.
Randi from Bella Simple Jewelry (Hey did you guys enter the giveaway for a bracelet? Remember to do soHERE) made me this UW keychain. It is perfect for football season, but let's be honest I'll be using it all year long. I also love some school swag jewelry I got this bracelet as a gift quite a few years ago and I'm still wearing it.

Sadly I won't be attending the Husky game tonight even though I will be in Seattle. But I'm there for an even better reason I'm attending a UW sorority sister wedding. My dress for the wedding just arrived from Rent the Runway. I will make sure to get a few photos of the dress and do a full report next Friday for fashion Friday.
Cheers,
Jess
