Rails Shirt and Denim

Yay no more pregnancy clothes for me! 3 weeks post baby and I'm so happy to be back in my normal clothes. Although being pregnant I threw away about 1/2 of my closet and I haven't shopped for anything new in the past few months. So I raided my Mom's closet yet again for this blog post.

My husband and I headed out on a little "date" afternoon and we quickly snapped some photos. No time to search for cool backdrops we just headed down the road for a few shots. I love these Rails shirts, they are pretty pricey, but the quality, patterns, and fit are just perfect. They are often on sale at Bloomingdales so I personally watch the sales for them. I have also been loving the denim on denim trend that has been popular for awhile. It especially works for a casual lifestyle. I also have been living in nursing tanks and button up shirts so it is even more of a reason to rock this look.

I paired this with my favorite lariat necklace from Madewell. I'm obsessed with this style of necklaces, I have ordered a few. However I was reminded that I will be spending most of the next few months in my house and won't have a ton of reasons to wear them. None the less I returned the rest of them and just kept this one.

These are an old favorite of mine, love the fringe detail to tie the whole look together. I found a pair that are similar below. I can't wait to start shopping again and rediscovering my closet. I was happy this week to pack up all my maternity clothes and put them under the bed. I was so tired of wearing the same basics over and over again. I will probably be showing off more casual looks in the coming weeks as I don't have a reason to get all dressed up, but casual is good! Hope you are enjoying the spring time weather. With cold and flu season still all around we haven't been able to leave the house much except enjoy our daily walks in the sunshine!
