We are hitting that limbo time of a year with weather. It seems like I'm not quite ready for full jeans and jackets, but wearing a dress or shorts is chilly. I already am struggling with what to wear in my closet and by what to wear I mean what still fits. I think I'm at that point in my pregnancy where I just need to bite the bullet and switch to maternity clothes. I'm happy to see the weather change, but a little sad to give up my comfy dresses. So because of that I decided to do a little post about how adding a few items to your simple cotton dress can take your look from summer to fall.
We all have a little jersey dress in our closets or jean and a t-shirt. I simply changed up the look with adding a scarf. When I buy scarves I make sure I can wear them as a shawl or wrapped around my neckl. I also traded my sandals for booties. I have also noticed myself wearing jeans and a tank and always throwing in a little shawl or scarf into my bag.
I personally own far too many scarves, probably because you can wear them fall, winter, and spring. They seem to always be a good idea. As my style has evolved and matured I tend to favor larger prints like this blue plaid scarf.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. I'm in Victoria BC and will be blogging all about my husband and I's 36 hours there. Can't wait to share with you next week all my recommendations and photos.
Cheers,
Jess
