Wrap and drape tops have made their way into my closet for fall 2017. I saw them last year and was on the fence about them. Now that I've gotten more comfortable with the tucked in top I decided to try the wrap/drape top. And the verdict is that I really like them. What I love most about this top is the drape look but mostly the sleeves. I am loving all these fun sleeves for fall. Is it just me or am I like every girl who gets so excited about EVERYTHING fall including moving from shorts and tanks to jeans and long sleeve shirts.
Like last week I snapped these pictures while on vacation in July. Don't mind the dewy face cause it was probably 85+ degrees and I was dressed for fall. There was one positive thing about this.... I hadn't worn jeans since May and it always makes me nervous putting jeans on again in the fall. I'm happy to report they FIT, summer you didn't win! Anyways these are my favorite Madewell jeans that I got last spring and I am glad that it is almost jean season again. Enough about that lets talk more about this drape top....
Like I said earlier I love this pattern and the cut of the top and MOST OF ALL I love the fun sleeves. I have seen quite a few bell sleeves for fall that just don't seem feasible to actually eat a meal in. These on the other hand still have some drama all while staying functional! I also am really into this pattern, I am SO NOT A PATTERN girl. I love my pops of color but patterns make me nervous. For some reason this fall I have been drawn to more patterns.
I paired this fun top with some simple jeans, dock friendly shoes (aka little block heels), and a panama hat. Something about a panama hat can really pull an outfit together and this one surely did! If you guys are looking for hats I suggest looking now, a lot of the panama hats are on sale!

Lastly I added some fun rings since I was in the mountains and wanted to be a little more boho! We currently have had 100 degree temps here and after blogging about this outfit I AM SO READY FOR FALL CLOTHES.
