Just a little Spring floral for you guys. I am a big fan of the floral trend it kind of reminds me of something Drew Barrymore would of worn in 1999. I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing but that is the vibe I get from this dress. But as we know quite a few of the late 90's and early 2000's trends are back. Case in point, I wore a scrunchy to my hair appt the other day and then the rest of the day I wore the scrunch around my wrist and refused to take it off. It brought back serious middle school memories when I never left the house without a scrunchy and it HAD to match my outfit. I won't be adding Dr. Martens back into my wardrobe but I see they are making a strong comeback. Sorry I got sidetracked there but back to this post about the floral dress.....
So as you can see this is a small floral print pattern, which I think makes it more feminine and girliy. The ruffle detail on the sleeve also adds another girly element. The wrap dress looks good on pretty much everyone, it is such a flattering silhouette so I always like these type of dresses. I got this from the Gap after searching for a floral dress online and when I was shopping a few weeks ago in Portland. I think when you have something specific in mind it makes it impossible to find but I finally found something that fit my vision. Needless to stay I love it and it is fun to add a little red into my closet.

Oh man what a week we have had. Things have been a little whacky with Leo health wise so we head to the doctor today to hopefully get an idea of what is going on with him or at least where to start to figure out what is going on with him. I have my ideas and theories so I'm eager to see what the doctor says. I will keep you guys updated but I think he has a food allergy going on that I think has been causing all the rashes, eczema, and worst of all.... the vomiting. I had a week full of plans and my entire week had to get rearranged due to him being sick. And to make matters worst Monroe is deciding 5:20am is a perfect wake up time. Which is NOT an ideal time for me. Needless to say I'm looking forward to Jay being off work this weekend and having an extra set of hands around the house. Plus we are getting away for a little bit to have some adult time with our friends at the beer festival going on in town. Hope you guys have a great Friday!
Cheers,
Jess
