I am not one that is a big tie dye fan or pink but when I saw this bright pink tie dye dress I fell in love. It was bright, fun, and the neckline was something a little different. I'm always looking for new things in my closet and this certainly is something fresh.
I was a little worried about the high neckline but I actually loved it. It was very feminine and surprisingly flattering. I was also a little nervous about the tie dye.... I'm SO NOT A TIE DYE kind of gal. But this one appealed to me. I think all the white and lighter pink color helps break up the actual tie dye. My suggestion when looking for something tie dye is maybe choose something that is only partially tie dyed. I also thinking having a lot of white or grey helps make the tie dye look more subtle.
I paired it with a magenta clutch. I love a good pop of color and this clutch will my best friend all spring and summer long. If you are afraid of bright color I suggest starting with a clutch or purse. It is a good way to add color into your wardrobe without totally going out of your comfort zone.
As you can see in this last picture I'm literally soaking up every ounce of sun! Thankfully the last few days we have gotten some warm days here. Leo and I spent 75% of our time outside and even ate all our meals outdoors. I have always loved warmer weather, but having a kid makes you even more grateful for it. Kids just prefer to be outside and with this crazy snowy winter and our super windy spring we haven't been able to enjoy the outdoors.
