This blog post has been a fan favorite for a few years so I'm back with my newest version of what's in my makeup drawer and this time I added some hair products. I feel like I've found some new products the past month that I've been dying to share with you. I am just loving all the items I've stumbled upon lately. If I had to pick my very favorite new item it would be the Anastasia Brow Gel, it is seriously amazing.
Makeup
1. Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation- I like light coverage when it comes to foundation, especially for everyday. So after trying a few different brands of foundation I have totally fell in love with this Urban Decay Naked Skin makeup. Like the title (naked skin) it gives you enough coverage, but it is very natural looking.
2. Anastasia Coutour Kit- Ang and Lauren showed me all about this a few years ago and it is still something I use for when I spend more than 5 minutes on my makeup. I used to do liquid contouring and the powder form is so much easier.

3. Maybelline Dream Lumi Highlighting Concealer- Drug store find!! I saw this concealer in glamour magazine and had to try it for myself. I have some Bobbi Brown concealer I use for nights out but it is expensive. So this is a great concealer for everyday use. It is $8 I believe, so a GREAT buy.
4. Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge- I used to buy a beauty blender sponge, but they are $20 and after a month I think they are gross (I know you can wash them but I prefer a new one). So I started using these from the drug store. They are $5 and work just a great as the beauty blender and I just toss them in the garbage once a month and buy a new one.
5. Revlon Photoready Eyeshadow- I have blogged about this a few times I will never buy expensive stuff cause this is literally the best eyeshadow ever.
6. Sigma Brush Set- I got this for Christmas last year. Nothing like have nice new brushes. Make sure you take time to clean them. They will last forever if you take good care of them. I use shampoo and conditioner when I wash mine.
7. Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel- LOVE Love love this brow gel. I've tried quite a few brow gel and this one is by far the best.
8. Estee Lauder Liquid Eyeliner- I used to use the pencil from Estee Lauder but recently switched to this liner. I was always intimidated by a liquid liner. This one has a thick side as well as a fine side so it is perfect. I start with the thick side and then perfect the look with the thiner side of brush.
9. L'Oreal Voluminous Original- My friend JoAnn recommended this. I have ended up really liking it. I have tried a ton of different mascara and none seemed to work for me. This one has been a favorite of mine the past 6 months. And the price is great cause it's from the drug store!

10. Maybelline Lip Stick - I used to wear Mac lipstick but was in a bind a few months ago and grabbed some maybelline from the drug store. This brand of lipstick has taken over my lip stick bag. They have a ton of color options and they wear so well. The price also is great and you don't have to make a special trip to get a new color. You can find this at any grocery or drug store. My current favorite color is Plum Paradise!
11. Rodan + Fields Foaming Sunless Tanner- My sister in law started selling Rodan + Fields. I decided to try this foaming sunless tanner. It goes on super easy and it gives such good coverage without turning your hands yellow. I use it before bed and I was worried it would smell but it really didn't. I'm a big fan!
Hair Products
12. Curling Iron- I recently left my curling iron at a hotel. So I had to buy a new one. I used to use a curling wand but being a mom I don't have time to take 20 minutes to curl my hair. So I've gone back to the old fashioned curling iron. I got this Infiniti Pro by Conair. I really love it cause it gets super hot like my curling wand does.
13. Milk Shake Silver Shampoo- My friend JoAnn let me borrow this for my purple hair. I used to use a purple toning shampoo for my uber blonde hair. But this stuff is legit. I has helped keep my purple lilac hair looking great. I'm 2 weeks in and it has hardly faded at all.
14. R+Co Dry Shampoo- I have also tried a lot of dry shampoos and this one is my favorite. I saw this brand in a magazine and had a hard time finding it in any stores. So I turned to Amazon (the thing ever) and found it and 2 days later I was enjoying it....thank you Amazon Prime!!
15. Not Your Mother's Texture Spray- Ok so I prefer the Oribe Texture Spray, but it is spendy so this is a great alternative but isn't nearly as good as the Oribe brand. I spray this all over my hair after it is dry and before I start curling and styling it. Make sure you get it all over your hair, it helps add some (duh texture) to your curls.
You can find most of these items at Ulta or at your local drug store. But I also dropped the links below so you can read more about each product.
