The trees are blooming and I'm eager to start wearing white! Too bad the weather isn't totally agreeing with me. So I had to put a warmer twist on my favorite spring and summer clothing item.... white jeans! Due to the rain I paired my white jeans with my new pair of suede over the knee boots and this post came alive!

Over the knee boots are one of my favorite trends from 2015/16. I have gotten 3 pair this year and when I saw these tan suede ones I had to have them. I love boots with high heels, but let's be honest I won't be wearing those very often while hauling around a car seat and 12 lb baby. So if I'm going to pay $200 for a boot I want them to be comfortable and be able to wear them often, which leads me to being attracted to a more chunky heel. I saw these online and fell in love with the color and the heel!

I was working with a limited closet, since I was home with the baby and had only packed lounging around the house clothing items and only a few "normal" clothes. I had an idea for a blog post, but when the weather ended up being a bit colder I had to pair it with a longline cardigan. I was hoping the two taupe color would match more, but they didn't. If I could of had access to my Portland closet for this post I would of probably worn this outfit with a grey sweater instead. But this one did the trick and you get the idea of the look.
