Military inspired look has been the rage for awhile. So when my mom bought me this jacket I was so excited. Most days I'll probably just wear this jacket with jeans and a t-shirt. But for this blog post I thought I'd fancy it up a little with a black dress and some over the knee boots. I love the mixture of "fancy" and "casual". Yes I did just refer to a cotton black dress as "fancy" probably because this is the "fanciest" I get now a days!
I'm over sandals, so bring on the boots! I included a few other pair of over the knee boots I like at the bottom of this post if any of you are interested in buying a new pair for fall. I love that in September and October you can get away with wearing some over the knee boots and a dress. Soon it'll be too cold to pull this off.

This would be the perfect outfit for a night out. I'm sure in other cities you could get away with wearing this during the day, but not in the Tri-Cities. Like last week I love mixing two different type of styles. (Check out last weeks post HERE). This week I'm mixing a little black dress some over the knee boots and then with a casual jacket. Adding the choker also keeps the look a little more casual. It was fun pairing this jacket with something other than jeans. I love how the look turned out.
