Happy Friday! I used to think this type of clothes were just a typical "Momiform" but then I noticed our babysitter who is so cute and stylish wearing all this cute athletic wear to babysit. Then she came with us to Seattle and was sporting once again the cutest athleisure wear. So when we got a little bit of away time from the kids (thanks Jay for babysitting) she went shopping with me. Nothing makes you feel more old (I'm 33) than shopping with an 18 year old. I thought I was in on the newest trends but I wasn't! So when SHE spotted this pull over at Zara and they didn't have her size I figured I could try it on....
Feeling fancy... more like feeling cabin fever! Holy snow, Jay has been driving my car to work (it has both car seats) so I have been at home pretty much since last Thursday. Don't even get me started on this past weekend and Leo's birthday party. I am doing a blog post on that since I put so much work into it and hardly any people were able to attend ( stupid snow). Anyways, that isn't what this post. Let's talk about this cute little outfit. This is a great "in between" season outfit for Feb-April.
First time Christmas pajamas family over here!! I begged Jay to do Christmas PJ's and he finally agreed to it. He said no onesies and not to make him look stupid.... I mean you have to have a bit of a sense of humor when the whole family is wearing the same PJ's. This is a Christmas tradition I hope we can continue for awhile... or at least until Leo tells us it isn't "cool" anymore. So I'm showing some of our jammies and giving you some ideas... you might still be able to order yours in time for Christmas.
Look at me 2 blog posts in one week! Watch I won't get another one up until after Christmas. So this outfit is "extra holiday"! So extra that when we went to the grocery store and to go have a drink last night Jay said maybe you should take off the leather pants it's a Thursday! So I did swap them out for some madewell black jeans but I still love all that is happening in this outfit. The other thing that is amazing about this outfit is that it really is a bargain buy, the hat is from amazon for $9 and the scarf is $11 from amazon. Normally when I order a $9 hat it looks pretty sketchy but this one is really nice and is fleece lined with is perfect for winter (just make sure you order the adult size and not the kid size). So this blog post I'm rounding out some of my favorite festive pieces for the holidays.... and maybe you don't need to wear them all together like I did.
I love the teddy coat, my husband on the other hand asked if I was wearing a carpet. It isn't for everyone but one thing I know for sure this fall/winter trend is one that will keep you warm. Cause holy smokes this teddy coat is really like wearing a teddy bear costume. If you go into any major retailers you will find some type of coat like this so I am sharing my teddy coat look and highlighting a few of my favorite jackets out right now.
Oh my third trimester..... it makes getting dressed a little tricky. My go to is denim a tank and a kimono. I call this my "resort" wear look. From a resort like Sun Valley pictured here to our upcoming trip to an old little hole in the wall resort in Priest Lake Idaho this is my go to outfit. It is simple and makes you look more put together without trying.
Welp this isn't your typical Nordstrom anniversary sale blog post today. I did add some wrap dresses currently on sale for the Nordstrom sale and I also added a few things I bought. I wasn't planning on doing too much shopping this year but I ended up finding more than I excepted to! But this blog post isn't about that, it is all about the wrap dress. I love the rise of the wrap dress this past few seasons, I can't believe the wrap dress was only invented in 1974 by Diane von Furstenberg. Diane knew what she was doing because this dress is so flattering and versatile. I think the wrap dress truly compliments most body types and works great with pregnancy. This dress isn't a maternity but as you can see you can wear this dress pregnant or not!
I've said this before but I so prefer being pregnant in the summer than the winter. Mind you I haven't had the 100 degree days but I have been loving the clothes and all the summer fruit. I really wanted to buy a few summer dresses, thankfully my girlfriend gave me 10 hand me downs of her old pregnancy ones but I wanted a tighter one. I ordered a few different ones but couldn't justify spending $120 on a black pregnancy dress. Until I found this dress, which happens to be 25% off, only $60 and reversible.
Father's Day is fast approaching and we teamed up yet again for a fun day at Columbia Center Mall. This time Jay got spoiled as the entire day was about picking out Father's Day gifts for Jay. Not only do I have some good gift ideas for you but I'm also doing an amazing giveaway. You can enter it at the bottom of this post.
It is shorts seasons, I mean the last month has been shorts seasons but I'm finally getting around to sharing with you a few of my favorite shorts. I have been able to wear all my low waisted shorts still but my high waisted ones have gone back into the drawer for the rest of the summer. I am sharing with you some of my favorite summer shorts that are "mom" appropriate!
